New Delhi: Kadambari Jethwani is a Mumbai based actress with many feathers in her cap. She is a qualified medical doctor, an internationally published medical author, a trained classical and western dancer and also a beauty pageant title holder.
Having born and brought up in Ahmedabad, the doctor-turned actress was recently seen in a horror series – Oujia. The film showed Kadambari Jethwani in a key role and her character won wide appreciation and appluase from audience.
Prior to her foray in acting, Kadambari Jethwani wanted to pursue medical sciences though the Bollywood was always a motivating factor for her.
Beauty pageant winner, Sadda Adda her first film
Kadambari Jethwani reveals that she is also a trained dancer in Bharatnatyam, Hip Hop dance and many other forms.
Her Bollywood journey began when she moved to Mumbai with her mother and got her 1st film break – Sadda Adda. However, stagnancy prevailed over her filmy career in Bollywood, following which she moved South in wake of good films.
When questioned about her shift from academics to acting, she said, “I am glad to make this choice, otherwise i wouldn’t have come out of my shell. It’s important to share and discuss life perspectives with others.”
“It has been an enlightening and fulfilling journey for me so far,” she said.
