New Delhi: Hardly there are people in India who did not notice the hustle that goes on the public bus. With the limited number of seats, innumerable tired people either on their way to or back from their office fails to be considerate leaving their seat for anyone. You can’t even really blame them as it can be considered an act of survival. Now, a video has gone viral where two passengers sitting right next to each other, fighting passionately over who is occupying more space on the seat.
The now-viral video showed two elderly men sitting beside each other, while one man shouting “bohot jagah hai (there’s a lot of space)” and another one replying “nahi jagah hai (there’s no space).” Soon after the video was released online, the meme fest began in no time. Meme makers used their own thoughts and references and created several memes.
Let’s take a look at some of them:

The new meme must have reminded many of you of the “two passengers on a bus” meme that surfaced on Twitter not very long ago. In the “two passengers on a bus,” a smiling man is looking out the window at the sun, mountains, and scenery, while another man looked extremely sad over a rocky gray wall. Though meme-makers went on to create hilarious memes, the cartoon that originated in Brazil had a deeper meaning. According to Know Your Meme, Brazilian artist Genildo Ronchi created the cartoon and uploaded it on his website in 2013. In his caption, he wrote, “As vezes só depende de nós”, which translates to “Sometimes it just depends on us.”
