New Delhi: One of the most auspicious festivals of the Islamic Faith, Eid-al Adha will be celebrated tomorrow. On the occassion, the Muslim community gathers in mosques in large numbers to offer prayers. Goats are sacrificed as a gesture of undying devotion and obedience to the god, which is why the festival is also known as Bakrid.

Bakrid will be celebrated on July 21. The day marks preparation of delicacies at home to be served to family and friends is a mandatory custom.
