Husband’s wedding surprise to ‘Amazonian wife’ gets him trolled in Twitter, LinkedIn

The person who works as a Google ads manager, got married to a woman who works at Amazon by his own account and his post referred to her as his, “Amazonian wife.”

New Delhi: With the wedding season on, social media feeds are full of wedding posts of friends, relatives, or somebody we don’t even know. However, what seemed interesting was a man sharing his wedding post on LinkedIn but at the same time doing brand integration. The post has gone viral within some time of its share.

The person who works as a Google ads manager, got married to a woman who works at Amazon by his own account and his post referred to her as his, “Amazonian wife.” Besides, he made a skit-type arrangement where a situation was raised that the varmala gets lost and then it gets delivered from Amazon. The viral image shows a man wearing an Amazon t-shirt, pretending to be a delivery agent as well.

Sharing the post, he captioned it, “I gave a surprise to my Amazonian wife [name] by creating an act of Varmala getting lost, and then I ordered it from Amazon… Just doing a brand Integration with love for my love @amazon… #amazon #love.”

However, the post was not received well by the netizens. They criticised the groom for using words like “Amazonian wife.” Besides, on LinkedIn, one of the users commented, “sad that you couldn’t think anything about her as a person even on such an important day,” while another user wrote, “Sad reality of people on wedding day people do such marketing. Working on Amazon, Google is like such a big achievement, I don’t think so.”
