New Delhi: Elon Musk, is an avid user of the microblogging site, Twitter. Apart from being the Tesla and SpaceX CEO and the world’s richest person, Elon Musk is also popularly known for the engaging extraordinary memes he shares on Twitter. Another incident of Musk’s engaging with Twitterati came to the surface after the viral video of a woman repeatedly slapping a man for Facebook surfaced on the internet.
The man in the video identified as Maneesh Sethi, a San Francisco-based blogger is the founder of a wearable tech startup Pavlok. Reportedly, Sethi had hired a woman for slapping him whenever he used Facebook.
The woman known as Kara was hired through a US classified portal named Craigslist. Approximately, she was paid $8 an hour for the job which included slapping the person sitting beside her whenever she noticed him using the most popular social media platform, Facebook.
In a post, Sethi stated that he increased his productivity to 98% from 35%-40% by just hiring a woman to slap him every time he used social media. The experiment was conducted nine years ago by Sethi.
The move has impressed the billionaire Elon Musk who replied to his post by sending two fire emojis. Soon, Sethi replied to Musk saying, “I’m the guy in this picture. Is @elonmusk giving me two emojis the highest I’ll ever reach? Is this my icarus flying too close to the sun moment? Was that implied by the fire symbols Elon posted? Time will tell.”
Following the first day’s tweet, Sethi added, “First nomad list, then Elon emojiing my slapping story, today’s just my day isn’t it.”
