New Delhi: Billionaire Elon Musk attended Met Gala 2022, citing one of the most “desi” reasons for doing so. The recent purchaser of the micro-blogging site, Twitter, went to the fashion extravaganza with his mom, Maye Musk, a model. When he was asked why he had come to the gala, Musk answered, “My mom wanted to come, so I brought her.”
The reason resonated with the mindset of Indian children who are perceived to be family-oriented. The clipping was shared by one of the netizens which grabbed attention in no time, and Musk responded with a laughing emoji.

The Met Gala theme for this year is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” The evening will celebrate the Met museum’s new exhibition of the same name, which will be presented throughout 13 of the American period rooms at The Met. The exhibition will start on May 7 and will continue till September 5, 2022.
This year’s theme is the second part of the museum’s celebration of the American style. The first part is known as “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” which opened in September 2021 and will also remain on display in The Met until September 5, reported Vogue. The Met Gala red carpet dress code is gilded glamour.
