New Delhi: Billionaire Elon Musk attended Met Gala 2022, citing one of the most “desi” reasons for doing so. The recent purchaser of the micro-blogging site, Twitter, went to the fashion extravaganza with his mom, Maye Musk, a model. When he was asked why he had come to the gala, Musk answered, “My mom wanted to come, so I brought her.” The reason resonated with the mindset of Indian children who are perceived to be family-oriented. The exhibition will start on May 7 and will continue till September 5, 2022. This year’s theme is the second part of the museum’s celebration of the American style. The first part is known as “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” which opened in September 2021 and will also remain on display in The Met until September 5, reported Vogue.
