New Delhi: The festive mood is in the air and people from all corners of India have matched the vibe to enjoy at the fullest. Be it people from 9-5 job taking breaks and enjoying the mood of jawans at the snow-laden mountains matching step with the occasion. With people in Assam and North-East India celebrating Bihu, the BSF jawans in Kashmir were no less in matching the craze.
A video has gone viral over the internet which shows BSF jawans celebrating Bihu and dancing to a Folk song in Kashmir. The video posted on Twitter by the Border Security Force Kashmir proves the undying spirit and their unshakable girt even in extreme weather conditions.
The video was shot in the Keran sector of Kupwara district in Kashmir where army jawans can be seen dancing enthusiastically at a freezing temperature of minus 15 degrees Celsius.
Posting the video BSF Kashion captioned it as, “Mountains and mountains of snow, blinding blizzards, freezing temperatures, stress of 24 hours vigil #LoC, away from homes; this all didn’t deter BSF troops to dance a few steps & celebrate #Bihu at FDL in #Keran Sector #ForwardArea.”

One of the jawans was seen donning the traditional gamosa/gamusa, a cloth with a red border on three sides and red woven motifs on the fourth. It is a symbol of Assamese culture.
