New Delhi: While most of the areas across the country are going through the worst heatwave situations ever, Bengaluru surprisingly received a dense rainfall on Sunday.
Though the unexpected rainfall brought power cuts and waterlogging in several parts, residents of the city celebrated the soothing weather by posting pics and video clips of the same on social media.
While some of the Bengaluru locals flaunted their fortune with the weather, some choose to tease their fellow Indians, especially from the northwest and central India keeping up with the scorching heat, while they get to relish chai and pakoras in pleasant weather.
A Twitter user wrote, “Sorry rest of India if Bangalore is offending you right now. Having a full-on rainstorm.”
“While North India reels under a heatwave. Bengaluru is chilling with rain and hailstones”, said another.
