New Delhi: A panelist broke into dancing during a live news debate on the Republic Bangla channel. The action seemed like her way of protesting after not getting a fair chance to speak in the discussion.
The mentioned panelist here is the known environment activist Roshni Ali, who was participating in a debate regarding the ban on firecrackers during Diwali.
The incident which is now going viral on social media occurred during a heated debate in a segment called ‘Anirbaner Agniban’ conducted last year on the channel. As Ali did not get enough time to complete herself on show, she surprised the news anchor and her fellow panelist with her sudden dance moves.

While a certain section of Netizens was naturally amazed of a panelist putting such a show on a live telecast, some were amused by the unique method of expressing one’s protest.

For the unversed, last year Ali had filed a PIL in the Calcutta High Court seeking a ban on firecrackers amidst the global pandemic.
