New Delhi: To represent love, respect, dignity, and responsibility towards a person, or as distinct as the flag or a national anthem or any other symbolic melody, police often showcases the gesture of salute. A heart-warming image has been shared by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) where it shows that a woman dressed in police uniform saluting her officer father.
The image shows that the proud father responds to her salutation, by saluting back to her. The beautiful moment has gone viral all over the web. Describing the image, ITBP captioned it as, “Proud father getting salute from the proud daughter.”

The woman in the image is identified as Apeksha Nimbadia, who graduated from Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad. Her father named APS Nimbadia is a Deputy Inspector General in ITBP. The photo was captured after Apeksha participated in the graduation parade.
Reportedly, after graduating from Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy, she will join Uttar Pradesh police as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Mr Nimbadia is a “third-generation officer in uniform” as serving the country as the police run in their family. The official account of ITBP, the country’s main border patrol organisation for its border with Tibet also shared two more photographs.
One of them shows Apeksha standing in the middle with her father as well as her mother Bimlesh Nimbadia, who also attended the ceremony. The last picture shows Apeksha standing beside her father, smiling bright in front of the camera.
Netizens celebrated the happy moment by writing several comments on the comment section. One of the users wrote, “Salute both of you,” while another stated, “What a proud moment.” Several others commented, “Jai Hind.” Meanwhile, others have added clap, heart, and star emojis.

ITBP was founded in 1962 in the wake of the Sino-Indian War. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
