VIRAL PIC: Cobra lounges in control panel of a railway station at Rajasthan; Netizens take it on laughter note

The picture showed a six-foot cobra lounging on the control panel at the Ravtha Road station under Kota Division.

New Delhi: Anything related to a snake can turn out to be squirmish to most people. Having heard the name of snakes, Indians get terrified. The slow and slithering nature of the reptiles seems to scare people from within. Having said that, a picture has gone viral on the web and is definitely not for the faint-hearted ones. The incident registers from a railway station in Rajasthan where a cobra was spotted sprawled onto the control panel.

The now-viral picture has been shared on Twitter by the user name Rounak. The picture showed a six-foot cobra lounging on the control panel at the Ravtha Road station under Kota Division. The station master can be seen sitting at a safe distance from the reptile. However, the presence of the cobra did not affect the train service.

“A six-foot cobra sneaked onto the table of a railway officer in the panel room of Ravtha Road (RDT), Kota Division. It, however, did not affect train services on the busy section. The station is thronged by thousands of engineering/medical aspirants daily,” reads the caption of the post.
