New Delhi: While it is known that the consumption of sugary beverages in large quantities may cause health issues including obesity, diabetes and tooth decay, a new study has found that drinking sugary beverages early in life may lead to impaired memory in adulthood.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, sugar-sweetened beverages are a leading source of added sugars in diets.

Here’s the food that people with Diabetes should never have:

Fried foods: Deep-fried food is never the best thing to eat that a doctor will recommend to you. They are basically high in carbohydrates and triggers blood sugar levels.

Flavoured yogurt: Usually people think that flavoured yogurts are a great source of probiotics but in actual they are not as healthy as you think. These days most yogurts include artificial flavouring and are loaded with sugar.

Refined flour: white bread, white rice, pasta, snacks, and bakery items that are made from refined flour are harmful for diabetic people. These food items can cause high blood sugar due to high glycemic index and reduced brain function

Fruit juice: It is good to eat fruits but fruit juices are in equal measure bad for people who have diabetes. Fruit juices are loaded with fructose that elevates the blood sugar levels and may result in lose out of fiber.
