Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and producer Kiran Rao announced their separation in July this year. The couple, who has been married for 15 years, share a son Azad Rao Khan together. The couple a joint statement making the announcement, revealing that they will continue to be co-parents for their son Azad. The duo met on the sets of ‘Lagaan’ where Kiran worked as an assistant director. After spending some time together, the two got hitched on December 28, 2005. Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta but got divorced after 16 years of marriage in 2002. He has a daughter Ira and son Junaid from his first marriage with Reena.
2. Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee
Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Ayesha Mukherjee have parted ways after eight years of marriage. The two made the official announcement of their separation in September this year. The duo shares a son together named Zoravar, meanwhile Ayesha is a Australian native and a former boxer.
3. Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar
The split between rapper Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar came after Shalini filed a case against the prior under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. She also alleged Singh of adultery and several extra-marital affairs. The two has been childhood friends and tied the knot in 2011.

The divorce between the silver screen star couple was followed after ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actor Karan Mehra was arrested by Mumbai Police for being accused of domestic violence and abuse by his wife Nisha Rawal.

Actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya, after several speculations, announced their separation on social media after four years of marriage in October.
