New Delhi: With just a few days left for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League to kick start in the United Arab Emirates, excitement is already filling the air. Cricket fans have already following their home teams on all social media accounts just to keep a tab on the chances of their winning.

However, with not much time left for the tournament to kick off, and also considering the recent developments in the CSK camp, the schedule is expected anytime soon.

Stephen Fleming – Chennai Super Kings

Stephen Fleming – Chennai Super Kings

New Zealand cricket team’s former star player Stephen Fleming joined Chennai Super Kings in 2008 as an opener and from the next year, he started coaching the team. Fleming resigned as a CSK opening batsman in the year 2009 and got hired by the franchise as a full-time coach of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). With Fleming as the coach, CSK has won the IPL title three times and has reached the finals of the T20 League for a record five times. Stephen is not the highest-paid coach but he is drawing Rs. 3.4 crores as salary.

Anil Kumble – Kings XI Punjab

‘King of Spin’ Jumbo Anil Kumble will be head coaching franchise Kings XI Punjab for IPL 2020. After he announced his retirement as a player in 2011, Kumble was appointed as RCB’s Chief Mentor, the position he resigned from in 2013 and joined Mumbai Indians in a similar role. He will be head coaching Kings XI Punjab this year too. Anil Kumble is drawing Rs. 4 crores as salary.

Brendon McCullum – Kolkata Knight Riders

Brendon McCullum – Kolkata Knight Riders

After playing for five different franchises in the world’s most famous T20 league, one of the most explosive batsmen of the game, Brendon McCullum will be seen head coaching Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020. Brendon McCullum will not be head coaching his first-ever IPL team. The New Zealander will be drawing Rs. 3.4 crores as salary.

Ricky Ponting – Delhi Capitals

Australian cricket team’s former skipper Ricky Ponting will be seen coaching the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020. After resigning as a head coach of Mumbai Indians in 2017, Ricky Ponting took over as the head coach of Delhi Daredevils, now Delhi Capitals, from 2018. Under Ponting’s mentorship, DC made it to the playoffs last year. This time too Ricky Ponting will be seen coaching the side. Ponting is drawing a salary of Rs. 3.4 crores.

Mahela Jayawardene – Mumbai Indians

Mahela Jayawardene – Mumbai Indians

Sri Lanka cricket team’s former skipper Mahela Jayawardene was appointed as the head coach of Mumbai Indians in the year 2017 after taking over from Aussie cricketer Ricky Ponting. Jayawardene will be donning the hat of the head coach in this season as well. Jayawardene is drawing a salary of Rs. 2.25 crores.

Simon Katich – Royal Challengers Bangalore

Simon Katich – Royal Challengers Bangalore

Former Australian cricketer Simon Katich will be seen as a head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). After the massive reshuffle of all the players and the coaches, Simon Katich was appointed as the Head Coach of Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in August 2019. Simon Katich is drawing Rs. 4 crores as salary.

Trevor Bayliss – Sunrisers Hyderabad

Trevor Bayliss – Sunrisers Hyderabad

Aussie cricketer Trevor Bayliss will be seen head coaching Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 13th edition of the IPL. Trevor who head coached Kolkata Knight Riders between 2012 and 2014 helped the team lift the trophy twice. He replaced Tom Moody who has been the coach of the team since 2013. Trevor Bayliss is drawing a salary of Rs. 2.25 crore.

Andrew McDonald – Rajasthan Royals

Andrew McDonald – Rajasthan Royals

Aussie cricket coach Andrew McDonald is all set to make a coaching debut in this year’s IPL as the head coach with Rajasthan Royals. He took over the reign from Paddy Upton who was replaced by the RR management for the team’s poor performance in the previous seasons. Andrew is drawing a salary of Rs. 3.4 crores.
