New Delhi: India’s revenge on Australia is complete! A team which broke the hearts of millions of cricket fans in front of millions of Indian fans have been chucked out courtesy of an 8-run thriller victory of Afghanistan over Bangladesh. Rohit’s side drilled a powerful hammering on Australia where Sharma led from the front.
India’s win over Australia can at best be described as a steamroller over the opposition. The game saw Rohit’s 92 off 41 which elevated the score past 200. Chasing the total, Travis Head gave a short scare of a repeat performance of the 2023 ODI World Cup Final. However, Jasprit Bumrah ensured that the short nightmare did not end in reality and clutched Head’s wicket. Eventually, the Aussies were bundled out for 181/7 after 20 overs.

In between the match of India vs Australia, there was a time when all-rounder Hardik Pandya survived an injury scare by whiskers. Pandya had bowled a ball on a good length which Starc failed to connect.
Collecting the ball, wicket-keeper Rishab Pant was seen throwing the ball in an attempt to aim at the stumps. However, the Indian wicket-keeper missed the stumps and the ball went on to hit the ball at Hardik’s hand with force. While the Indian all-rounder was fuming on camera, the Indian skipper was aghast at the madness that was unfolding in front of him.
