New Delhi: In 2021, the then coach of the Australian cricket team, Justin Langer, said, “You never ever, underestimate the Indian team,” as according to the former Aussie coach, the Indian cricket team is most dangerous when their backs are against the wall.
Proving Langer’s words right, the men in blue came in the second test match against the South African team with only one thing in mind, which was to avenge the loss of the first test match in a similar fashion.
The Indian bowling unit led the charge as they destroyed the Proteas batting unit in both innings, as the latter were only able to put up a total of 55 and 176 in both innings, respectively.
India got the target of 79 in the fourth innings, which they chased down with seven wickets in hand, helping the visitors to level the series 1-1.
