India and Pakistan will be locking horns first time after two years at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 24.

New Delhi: India will be facing Pakistan for the first time after two years of ICC T20 World Cup 2019. The 16th match of the ICC T20 World Cup will take place on Sunday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 7:30 PM. Both the teams are a part of group 2 in the tournament.

India

Before, India played two warm-up matches in this tournament. In the first game, India successfully defeated England by 7 wickets. Whereas in the second game on batting first Australia scored 152-2 on the board. Steve Smith scored a half-century while Marcus Stonis secured 41 runs. However, India managed to win over them by 9 wickets with Rohit Sharma scoring 60. 

On the contrary, Pakistan as well played two warm-up games against West Indies and South Africa. On batting first, West Indies was restricted to 130-7 which Pakistan easily chased down with 7 wickets in hand including Babar Azam’s half-century and Fakhar Zaman’s unbeaten 46.

Against South Africa, Pakistan batted first scoring 186-6 in 20 overs with Fakhar Zaman hitting 52 runs. However, South Africa pulled off a victory with 6 wickets in hand. Rassie van der Dussen’s unbeaten century (101) enabled his team to win the title of the match.
