New Delhi: Indian women cricket team on Sunday won the 2022 Women’s World Cup against Pakistan by 107 runs at the Bay Oval stadium in New Zealand. India’s Smriti Mandhana and Pooja Vastrakar chipped in half-centuries to create the target of 244 runs for Pakistan.

Bowler Sneh Rana and Jhulan Goswami took two wickets each, helping India to bundle out Pakistan for 137 runs.
Following the win, many people took to Twitter to congratulate team India for the win under the hashtag, IndiaVsPakistan, and CWC22. Under the hashtags, a video of Indian cricket players playing with the baby of Pakistani skipper Bismah Maroof is being widely shared.
They also took photos with the child. A post featuring the child and the team players was also shared by ICC. ”Littel Fatima’s first lesson in the spirit of cricket from India and Pakistan,” read the post.
Earlier in the match, Maroof was also spotted carrying the baby outside the ground.
