New Delhi: The Indian cricket team have released their brand new national jersey ahead of the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023, to be held in Indian home soil.
The much-anticipated jersey is released through a two-and-a-half minute song sung by the famous Indian rapper Raftaar and features a majority of team India players.
The song is titled, ‘3 Ka Dream,’ which represents India’s hunt for their third ODI World Cup Trophy, after winning it before in 1983 and 2011.
To recognise the biggest cricketing tournament being played in India, the apparel sponsor Adidas has decided to bring some changes to the Indian jersey. On the shoulders, they have placed a vivid tricolour that has taken the place of the three white stripes.
India will be taking part in a three-match ODI series against the Australian team before kick-starting their World Cup campaign against the same team on October 7.
