New Delhi: The much-awaited IPL 2022 mega auction is set to start next week. Ahead of the auction, players have unveiled their base price. This year the auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.

The IPL auction will witness a total of 590 players, of which 228 players are capped, 355 uncapped, and seven from Associate nations.

The two-day event of the IPL 2022 mega auction will see the first ten marquee players. It includes Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammed Shami, Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, and Trent Boult.

After the marquee players, the auction will kickstart for the capped players in order of batters, wicketkeepers, pacers, and spinners before the uncapped players.

Base Price INR 2 Crore

There are 48 players who have decided to place themselves under the base price bracket of Rs 2 crore.
