New Delhi: Virat Kohli & Gautam Gambhir, two cricketing stalwarts and their on-field fracas during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match has been the talking point of nation, ever since the day they had a meltdown.
While Kohli & Gambhir both have refrained from speaking about the hostile moment, their gestures & Instagram stories gives a good insight of their mood & composure, post fracas. Though the matter is far from settled, an incident has added to the flare-up and Gautam Gambhir was seen giving death stare to cricket fans.
In an incident, Virat Kohli’s fans repeatedly chanted his name, in presence of Gautam Gambhir, thus leaving the latter irked. A video of the same, having captured ‘Kohli Kohli’ chants has gone viral on the social media. The video was reportedly shot before the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In the viral video, Gautam Gambhir can be seen climbing the stairs of dressing room. It’s then that a group of Kohli fans chant slogans for him. This leaves Gambhir miffed & seething in anger. He stands for a while, stares back at the chanting crowd and then walks away without speaking a word. It was his stare to cricket fans that many netizens found objectionable & offensive.

The duo had got involved in a verbal feud and had to be escorted out of the spot by fellow teammates & support staff. Video of this altercation went viral on the internet and remained the talking point for days.
