New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 in UAE, the Indian team landed in Dubai. In a video clip shared by BCCI, the Indian team can be seen arriving in the city and gearing up for the tournament. In the clip, Indian players can be seen meeting their friends and rivals from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, what caught everyone’s attention was a handshake between India’s former captain Virat Kohli and Pakistan captain Babar Azam. Cricket fans are aware of the off-the-field chemistry and respect the two share for each other. Fans were happy to see the two meet after a long time. Virat also patted Babar’s shoulder and probably the two wished each other luck.

Netizens are hyped up by the clip ahead of the India-Pakistan clash on August 28.

A Twitter user enjoyed the moment and captioned it with a popular line by comedian Zakir Khan.

In the video, Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya can also be seen meeting Afghanistan’s captain Mohammad Nabi and their ace spinner Rashid Khan. Virat was also seen sharing a moment with Rashid. The 35-second video ends with a clip of VVS Laxman, who is filling in for Rahul Dravid, sharing some words of wisdom with the team.

India and Pakistan will play against each other on August 28 while the tournament kickstart on August 27.
