New Delhi: Indian cricket fans will be on cloud nine as team India will be taking part in multiple tournaments in the upcoming months.
India will begin their journey on September 2 with their opening game against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Team India will be looking for a strong performance in this year’s edition of Asia Cup a disappointing outing in the last edition.
The group stage matches of team India will be on September 2 against arch-rivals Pakistan and on September 5 against Nepal. The Super 4 will begin on September 6 and if team India manages to reach the final it will be played on Sunday, September 17.
Asia Cup will also be very important for the team from the World Cup’s point of view, as this will give the answer of what will be India’s playing 11 in the marquee tournament.
India after the conclusion of the Asia Cup will be hosting Australia for a three-match ODI series from September 22 to 27. This can also be seen as the final serious warm-up before the World Cup.

While the members of the team that will feature in the World Cup will be taking a little rest after their series against Australia, a young team India under Ruturaj’s leadership will be travelling to the Asian Games which will be held in Hangzhou, China.
The multi-nation event from September 19 to October 7 will be India’s final series before the mega tournament.
Notably, the women’s team will also be featured in the Asian Games under the leadership of Captain Harmanpreet Kaur. After winning silver in the Commonwealth Games, Harmanpreet and squad will be eager to change the color of their medals in the Asian Games.
Finally, team India will start their biggest challenge in the form of the ODI World Cup 2023 with their opening match against Australia on October 8. The World Cup will conclude on November 19 with the final match at Ahmadabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
