New Delhi: Ace badminton player, PV Sindhu has again gained internet sensation apart from being on the court. The two-time Olympics medallist has set the social media on fire as she was seen grooving to Mayakirriye

Several trending videos and reels are going around the social media on this popular Tamil song and PV Sindhu has added herself to the list. This is not the first time, the 26-year-old badminton player has taken part in a viral trend. She was previously seen dancing on Love Nwantinti and Kacha Badam.

Taking to Instagram, the player shared a video where she was seen doing the hook step of Mayakirriye. The popular Tamil song is sung by Anirudh Ravichander and composed by AniVee. The song has become the most trending one on Instagram with nearly 45,000 dance Reels made on it.

Dressed in simple blue denim and a pink jacket, paired with a cap, the player nailed the Mayakirriye dance challenge. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Dance is the joy of movement.”

From the time of its share, the video has garnered over 3.7 lakh views and more than 87k likes.

Notably, the badminton player is an avid dancer as well. Earlier, she matched steps on Love Nwantiti in her own style. 

The player was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third-highest civilian award, last year. She has already been the recipient of Padma Shri in 2015, which is India’s fourth-highest civilian award and highest sporting honour of India, Khel Ratna award in 2016.
