New Delhi: Left-arm medium-fast bowler Lukman Meriwala was picked up by the Delhi Capitals at their base price of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL auction on February 18.
Meriwala has picked up 72 wickets in 44 matches at an average of 14.54 in T20s. The 29-year-old, who plays for Baroda in domestic cricket, finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 with 15 scalps.
Lukman Meriwala made his IPL Debut against Punjab today. Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant on Sunday won the toss and elected to bowl against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here at the Wankhede Stadium.
