New Delhi: Team India’s loss at the hands of Australia in World Cup 2023 final not only dashed a billion hopes of winning the coveted Trophy for record 3rd time but also left fans of Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma, in particular, heartbroken & shattered.
While many shed tears over World Cup trophy going to the Aussies, many others felt that Team India was headed for a ‘large vaccum’ with probable retirement of senior players. Notably, talks of Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli after 2023 World Cup have been around on social media for sometime but the duo have shown no signs of slowing down and have been acing their game in every series clash.
Virat Kohli played a brilliant & magnificent knock in this World Cup. Having scored 3 centuries & 4 half centuries in the cricketing extravaganza alone, he settled his total at 765 runs, the maximum by any cricketer in World Cup history. He was rightfully adjudged Man of the Tournament, however, he & his team suffered a major setback with Aussies claiming the title, this year.
Now, the biggest question over any cricket fan is whether Virat Kohli will announce retirement before 2027 World Cup. Notably, a couple of senior cricketers have also shared their views on his possible exit from game.
Virat Kohli is extremely fit and this shows up in his agility on field, however, former Sri Lankan spinner Muralidharan recently opined that fitness wasn’t the only factor as there are multiple factors which could hinder your performance.
Now, that Kohli ended the World Cup on a high note by winning the Golden bat, there are fresh murmurs of impending retirement.
While the topic remains talk of town, a viral Facebook post of an Astrologer (from 2016) has gone viral which apparently lists the upcoming high points of Virat’s career.
The Facebook post, shared from ‘Stars and Astrology’ page says that Virat will have another peak of swashbuckling batting from August 2025 to February 2027 and he will end his career on a very high note after 2027 World Cup.
The viral post claims that Kohli will again juggle with bad form for about 18 months from August 2025 to February of 2027, before coming back with a bang for the World Cup 2027.

The Astrological prediction about Kohli’s personal & professional life landed on Facebook, ways back in April 2016. At that time, it also created buzz and is again taking his fans by surprise, owing to couple of things ‘rightly’ forecasted.
It documented Kohli’s personal as well as professional life. It predicted that Kohli would marry in 2017-2018 and would have a child between 2020 to 2022 and that would bring him immense fortune. It also talked about Virat’s lean phase.
