New Delhi: India and Australia are set to lock horns in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final, slated from June 7 to June 11 at England’s Oval Stadium. Crores of cricket fans will be glued to the Television screens & digital medium while two teams take on each other in the Summit Clash.

Though, Team India are seen as the favourites for WTC final, it was the Aussies who dominated the WTC league table. Down Under had finished at top of the WTC league table by scoring 152 points while India followed closely at second spot with 127 points.

In the WTC final, Team India will be carrying the momentum it gained in previous encounter against the Aussies. In the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar trophy, India thrashed the visitors and took 2-1 lead in the series.

It will be Australia’s maiden entry in the WTC final while India will be playing its WTC final in Oval, for the second time. The Men in Blue had clashed against New Zealand in the inaugural WTC but failed to win home the title and went down fighting to Kiwis. India lost its first WTC final to New Zealand by 8 wickets in Southampton in 2021.
