According to Geo News, two missiles hit a house in the area, killing five militants affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur terror group. The group is a faction of Pakistan's Taliban.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. Both the attackers were killed in a clearance operation, as per Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Ministry of Interior Affairs quoted by TOLOnews.

An attack by the Taliban in Farah's Gulistan district claimed the lives of at least 20 army soldiers on Monday, according to a member of the Farah Provincial Council.

The attack took place at a commemoration ceremony of the death of Abdul Ali Mazari, a former jihadi leader in PD 13 area in the western part of the city, according to Afghan media reports.

Around 400 people from India, the Caribbean countries, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Israel, Balochistan (part of Pakistan) expressed staged the protest.
