The 54-year-old actor is currently basking in the success of his blockbuster hit 'Dabangg 3' and will next be seen in 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' which will release on Eid in May this year.

Juhi was speaking at an event where several BJP leaders along with Bollywood personalities joined the protest against the display of "Free Kashmir" posters during a recent demonstration.

"I do not watch many Hindi movies. They're actually making people like me go and watch her movies and support her," said Kanimozhi on being asked about a social media campaign to boycott Padukone's movie.

The Bollywood diva captioned the video post as, "Be the change you want to see... A Social Experiment by Team Chhapaak!"

The Bollywood actor was seen standing with students as the demonstrators raised the slogan of "Jai Bhim-Jai Bhim". She did not issue any statement nor address the students.

In a bid to dispel rumours against the CAA, the BJP has launched a campaign to generate awareness among the people regarding the citizenship law.

The actor made her debut on the platform on Saturday and shared several clips with TikTok celebrities and Laxmi Aggarwal, who is the inspiration behind her role in the upcoming film 'Chhapaak'.

'Pink' actor Taapsee Pannu also shared a video of the rampage and tweeted, "such is the condition inside what we consider to be a place where our future is shaped. It's getting scarred for ever. Irreversible damage. What kind of shaping up is happening here, it's there for us to see.... saddening."

Makers of the movie have dropped a handful of songs that have caught the attention of the movie-goers and its two trailers have garnered more than 100 million views online.
