Dr Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health & President, AIIMS, New Delhi is closely monitoring the efforts on-site towards extinguishing the fire and also regarding patient care. The Minister also discussed to conduct more comprehensive special fire audit said Dr Aarti Vij, Spokesperson at AIIMS in a press statement.

A total of 34 fire tenders were pressed into service and firefighters were able to contain the fire from spreading to nearby blocks. No casualty has been reported.

A fire broke out at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Emergency Wing.Fire brigade units have reached the spot and are fire-fighting operations are currently on to prevent its spread.

Gandhi Nagar market situated in Shahdara area of New Delhi is one of Asia's largest textile market. It is believed that the market has a footfall of around 10,000 to 20,000 people every day.

Around 20 people were rescued from the spot. Around seven cars and eight motorcycles gutted in the fire.

People trapped in MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited) building in Bandra, are being evacuated. A level 4 fire has broken in the building, 14 fire tenders are present at the spot

Mumbai Fire Brigade is onsite to douse the fire. Mumbai Police and 108 ambulance service were also on the spot. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

According to Japan's public broadcaster NHK, eyewitnesses reported the fire at the animation studio at around 10:30 am (local time), saying they heard what it sounded like a blast, after which plumes of smoke was seen billowing out from the building.

It added that short loops are being run between Janakpuri West and Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh. and said there will be no service between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden temporarily.
