The Prime Minister who was in Mathura for the inauguration of National Animal Disease Control Programme was seen sitting on a brown coloured crate with the women rag pickers and was separating plastic from a large heap of garbage to send out a clear message to the citizens to cut plastic use.
In his letter to Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Rahul said, "While Kerala is still reeling under the devastating impact of the 2018 flood, the deluge this year has derailed the reconstruction process."
Soon after Jaitley was admitted to AIIM'S Intensive Care Unit (ICU) last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior officials from the ministry went on to check on the ailing minister.

Doctors are still unhappy with the deliberation of the health minister and threatened to continue the stir for the second consecutive day.

Nursing officers alleged that hospital administration had served them termination notices stating that permanent staff will be hired in their place. "The number of permanent staff to be hired is 1278, while there are more than 3000 vacancies in the hospital. There are adequate vacancies for us," said a protesting officer.
"I appeal with folded hands to WB CM Mamata Banerjee to not make this an issue of prestige. Despite getting beaten so badly, doctors only asked her to provide them adequate security," Harsh Vardhan said.
