The other two pacers to have taken 300 Test wickets are Kapil Dev and Zaheer Khan. Overall, Ishant is the sixth Indian bowler to take 300 Test wickets.
The World Cup-winning captain, Dev, was admitted to a hospital in the early hours of Friday after he complained of chest pain.
"Cricketer Kapil Dev came to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (Okhla Road) emergency department at 1:00 am on 23rd October with a complaint of chest pain. He was evaluated and an emergency coronary angioplasty was performed in the middle of night," Fortis Escorts hospital said in a statement.
“Basically we will not like to shift release date further.... and ideally look for theatrical or any other hybrid measure for the best possible release,” Shibasish Sarkar said.
