The India Meteorological Department has predicted continuous rainfall for the city for the next two days with the possibility of minimum and maximum temperatures settling at 24 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius respectively.
Besides, the heavy downpour is also likely to lash isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Uttar Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Lakshadweep and Arunachal Pradesh.
Today, the minimum and maximum temperatures will hover around 24 degree Celsius and 31 degree Celsius with relative humidity at 89 per cent.
The IMD said heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places in Konkan and Goa, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya.
