Among the 44 constituencies, nine are in Howrah, 10 in Hooghly, 11 in South 24 Parganas, five in Alipurduar and nine in Cooch Behar.
The BJP leader said there should be free and fair polls and they have approached the Election Commission.
Hours after Mamata Banerjee proudly said that she is "a Hindu girl" and reciting mantras, her challenger Suvendu Adhikari accused that her of chanting the wrong mantra.

In her quest to win the Nandigram seat, Mamata is visiting the constituency regularly, where she can be seen doing some political stunts. Mamata's main rival for the constituency is BJP is Suvendu Adhikari, who recently quit TMC.
Ahead of filing the nominations, Mamata went on a temple temple-hopping spree and offered prayers at a Shiv temple in Nandigram.
Chakraborty, 70, was a Rajya Sabha MP for the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for two years, before resigning.
