Elon Musk tests LIVE video feature on Twitter turned ‘X’, here is how you can do it

With the introduction of new feature, Musk has provided users with more flexibility & clarity to articulate themselves on micr0-blogging website.

New Delhi: Billionaire & Tesla founder Elon Musk sprang a surprise on the microblogging website by introducing a LIVE feature on the Twitter turned X.

Musk, the owner of Twitter, now named ‘X’ made the feature LIVE by introducing himself through a video braodcast on the microblogging platform.

While Musk went LIVE with the video feature on X, he was joined & followed by thousands of fans & followers.

While Musk asked, “Is this working?” they shared their first experiences while joining the LIVE feature with ‘X’ owner.

The X owner was also seen curling a dumbbell in the video, hinting that it could be a message for the rival platform Facebook.

After sometime, Musk posted, “live video now works reasonably well.”

Though users got a seamless experience of the VIDEO feature this time, this wasn’t the case in first place. The platform though introduced LIVE broadcasts sometime ago but the users weren’t impressed with this.

With the introduction of new feature, Musk has provided users with more flexibility & clarity to articulate themselves on micr0-blogging website.

How to create a live video:

In the new format, X has improved the ‘live videos’ feature. Users can start LIVE videos just by tapping the camera icon in the composer tab.

After testing the feature, Musk also tweeted, “live videos now works reasonably well. Just tap the button that looks like a camera when you post”.

Here is how you can go LIVE on Twitter

Step 1: Tap the camera icon in composer tab.
Step 2: Tap ‘Live’ button
Step 3: Fill in the description in Tweet and also location
Step 4: You will go Live.

Once you go LIVE, the broadcast will be visible on your followers’ timeline & your profile.

For ending the LIVE video, you will just need to press Stop button on the top left.

Users troll Zuckerberg

Some users also found a reason to troll Mark Zuckerberg over Twitter’s new feature.
