New Delhi: India’s star Javelin thrower and Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra created history again. He won the Doha Diamond League on Saturday. The Olympic medalist clinched the record by throwing a throw of 88.67m, which is also the best throw of this year. The Champion defeated the star-studded athletes including world champion Anderson Peters, Olympic silver medalist Jakub Vadlejch and various others. Grenada Peters began the completion by throwing the Javelin at a distance of 85.88m, then followed by Neeraj’s lead throw. Jakub Vadlejch’s throw was very close to Indian Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra’s. He just fall short by 0.04m and ended up in the second spot.
