New Delhi: On the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath praised the administration during an event at Azamgarh and said, the festival was celebrated peacefully. He said people belonging to the Muslim community offered the Namaz at mosques and not on the roads, maintaining the law and order situation in the state.
Earlier, there were riots but now people know the state is run by law and order and it is equal for all, said UP CM. Yogi Adityanath further said, there are many religions in the state but the festival was celebrated with peace and harmony.
On Saturday, the holy festival of Eid was celebrated all over the country.
