Elon Musk says Twitter may charge a fee. Know why

While not yet available in India, Twitter Blue is now available for users in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on Twitter for iOS, Android, and the web.

New Delhi: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, proposed yet another major shift for Twitter, stating that the tweeting network may collect a small fee for commercial and government users. The billionaire, who recently purchased Twitter Inc for $44 billion, stated that the social media giant would remain free for “casual users.” Commercial and government customers, however, may have to pay a set amount of money, according to Musk.  It’s worth noting that putting behind a paywall isn’t a completely novel concept for the microblogging platform; Twitter Blue is one example of this. For a nominal monthly subscription price, Twitter Blue will provide loyal clients with exclusive access to premium features and app customization.
