New Delhi: At the ongoing G-20 Summit 2023, the national award winning Madhubani painting artist Shanti Devi showcased her masterpieces: a painting of a portrait celebrating the success of India’s third Lunar Mission Chandrayaan 3. The prestigious art and craft was showcased in Bharat Mandapam located in Pragati Maidan New Delhi. While speaking with ANI, Shanti Devi said that the Indian government has given her chance to be the part of G-20 and she saw Chandrayaan 3 in the newspaper for the first time and decided to make the painting on it. Shanti Devi belongs to Mithila region of Bihar, she considers her mother as her first guru in learning this craft.
