New Delhi: It was a proud day for Indian Pacer Akashdeep. The 4th Test between India and England became the turning point in his life. He was handed the debut test cap by former cricketer and head coach Rahul Dravid. Few people know that the pacer had to go through many hardships in life to make ends meet. The proud pacer hails from Sasaram, Bihar. Akashdeep always wanted to play cricket but was never encouraged by his father. This didn’t shatter his dream and he left his hometown on the pretext of finding a job. He then joined a local academy and got many people impressed with his pace.
