New Delhi: Tessy Thomas is an Indian Scientist and also the Director General of Aeronautical Systems and the former Project Director for Agni-IV Missile. She is the first woman scientist to lead a missile project in India. She was appointed for the Agni Project with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. She was appointed as the Director General of DRDO in 2018. She was appreciated for her hard work and dedication in the field of Solid Propellent Systems. She is also the brain behind Agni-5. Tessy Thomas hails from Kerala and she had a long journey in becoming an Indian Scientist. She always had an inclination for Science and Technology.
