New Delhi: The police campaign against criminals in Uttar Pradesh continues even during the second government of Yogi Adityanath. In the beginning of 2023 itself, the UP police killed four vicious criminals in an encounter. 14 criminals have been injured in the police encounter and 52 prize crooks have been arrested.
The encounter campaign of the Yogi Adityanath government, which started against criminals in Uttar Pradesh since March 2017, is continuing. A total of 10531 encounters have taken place in Uttar Pradesh since March 2017. 22,597 criminals have been arrested. 4710 criminals have been injured in police encounters and 172 prize crooks have been killed in police encounters.
