New Delhi: Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi, the man who defined Hospitality also known as ‘Biki’ passed away at the age of 94 years. He was born on February 3 1929 and was the founder of the Oberoi group. He did his schooling in Darjeeling and completed Hotel Management in Switzerland. He has given a new shape to the Indian Hospitality Industry. He was the CEO of the Oberoi Group of Hotels till 2013. According to Forbes magazine, his net worth is over $460 million. He was also hailed as the Founder father of Modern Luxury Hospitality in India. He also received many awards including Padma Vibhushan.
