Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: What are the main features of Lord Rama’s idol in Ayodhya?

The highly awaited Inaugration and Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set to take place on January 22, and will be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: The whole nation of India these days is talking about only one thing, that is the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Rama’s idol in Ayodhya on January 22. The proceedings will be performed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. Notably, the idol selected for the temple is carved by the Karnataka based artist Arun Yogiraj. Lord Rama’s idol has a depiction of the Sun over his head, along with the depiction of all ten Vishnu Avatars, Lord Hanuman and Lord Garuda. The idol is reportedly 51 inches in height and weighs around 200 Kg. Lord Rama’s idol will be holding the bow in his left hand while giving the blessing with his right hand. The idol will also be decorated with a golden crown.
