New Delhi: Indian Singer and Music Composer Shankar Mahadevan is flying high after winning an academy award for his fusion band ‘Shakti’. After receiving the award, the singer took to his Instagram and wrote, “Shakti was a dream which came true! Thank you Almighty for making this happen! It’s truly ‘THIS MOMENT.'” He received a warm welcome at the Mumbai Airport from his fans. The band also features Zakir Hussain, John Mc Laughlin, V Selva Ganesh and Ganesh Rajagopalan. He also thanked God, friends, family and India. He also added, “Last but not the least, I would like to dedicate this award to my wife, whom every note of my music is dedicated to.”
