What is Cyclone Biparjoy: Here is all you need to know

This cyclone will remain for 3 hours and can be devastating.

New Delhi: As per the Indian Meteorological Department, cyclone Biparjoy as named by Bangladesh is moving toward the northwestern and East-centric parts of the Arabian Sea. The name, Biparjoy means devastating in Hindi. It is predicted that one more cyclone can arise in the Arabian Sea. Cyclone Biparjoy is heading towards the South at a  distance of 900 km from Goa, 1030km from Mumbai, 1090 km from Porbandar, and 1300km from Karachi. This cyclone will remain for 3 hours and can be devastating. Due to cyclone Biparjoy Monsoon had already been late in Kerala and could reach up to 8 or 9 June. The cyclone can hit the region in the next 48 hours.
