New Delhi: From today onwards i.e. May 23, 2023, you can exchange your 2000 rupee notes or can deposit them in your bank accounts. The last date to deposit or exchange a 2000 rupees note is available till September 30. You can deposit or exchange up to the amount of rupee 20,000 at a time, however, the limit is not fixed for a day to exchange or deposit the 2000 rupee note. Although the 2000 rupee note will be in legal tender after 30 September also. However, some rules are to be followed by the depositor. If he has one or more than one saving account there is a certain limit of cash that his account should hold in a year.
