New Delhi: The 15 year old badminton player Tanvi Sharma hails from Punjab. She is known for her spectacular performance at the National and International level throughout the Badminton Championship in 2023. She has caught the attention after winning a gold medal in the Senior Asian Championship held in Malaysia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised the 15 year old for her performance. He also said that she is an inspiration for many who want to play Badminton for the country. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to support athletes through target Olympic Podium scheme. PM also encouraged her to play well for her country on the global stage.
