New Delhi: On Saturday, Tamil Nadu Police arrested writer and political analyst Badri Seshadri for his provocative remark on Manipur violence and Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud during an interview on Youtube. According to Tamil Nadu Police Badri Seshadri has been arrested under sections 153, 153(A), and 505(1)(B). These sections are related to provocating violence and spreading hatred among the public. Badri Seshadri has been arrested on the complaint filed by advocate Kaviyarasu. In the complaint, Advocate said he saw the interview on Youtube that showed, Seshadri, criticizing Supreme Court and CJI Chandrachud. However, Madras Reporters Guild condemn the arrest of Badri Seshadri.
