New Delhi: The Indian Prime Minister is currently on his Japan visit to attend the G7 and Quad meetings. During his significant visit, PM Modi met some dignified personalities, including Tomio Mizokami.  Tomio has been awarded with a Padma Shree for his tremendous contribution to disseminating Indian languages abroad. Tomio completed his PhD in Punjabi at Delhi University in 1983. He was also a professor emirate at Japan’s Osaka University. But, he retired in 2007. Tomio is an incredible personality who commands over 13 languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, English, Bangla, Urdu, Gujarati, Assamese, Marathi, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Tamil, German, and French.
